Contest
Calling all true hunters. Capture the raw, unfiltered adrenaline of the hunt in a 3-7 minute video. With a $300 prize on the line for the top entry, this is your chance to show the grit and glory of the chase. Whether it’s a harvest shot or just the thrill of the pursuit, your video needs to tell a powerful story. Submit your video by February 19, 2025, with a $60 entry fee per video. The best entries will be showcased at a dinner event, where the audience will vote for the winners. Step up, take aim, and show us what real hunting is all about!
Contest Prizes
1st Place $300. Guaranteed minimum for at least 10 videos. Prize money will be adjusted based off the number of teams.
Contest Rules
- There will be only one category of videos for this contest.

- To be eligible, videos should be 3-7 minutes in length and no longer than 10 minutes.
- Videos should be designed for you to tell your story. The videos may be harvest shots but are not required to be. The audience wants to see the thrill or enjoyment of the hunt or the pursuit of the hunt and hear your story. The videos could vary quite a bit but should all show the joy that comes from God’s Great Outdoors.
- Please refrain from using fowl language
- Any person involved in the production of the video who is a Professional videographer is ineligible for the Contest. For the purposes of this Contest, a Professional videographer is defined as a person who receives any income from the act of videoing whitetail deer or other game animal in Ohio or any other state.
- Videos must be submitted in electronic format to Ohio Trophy Pursuit by February 19, 2025, for review.
- There is no limit to the number of entries each contestant can make. However, since each entry is only 1 video, it would require an additional $60.00 fee.
- Owners and employees and spouses of Ohio Trophy Pursuit are not eligible to participate in the contest.
- The Top Videos, as determined by a panel at Ohio Trophy Pursuit, will be played the Night of the Dinner for Voting by the audience to determine the winners.
- Prizes will be awarded based on the number of contestants.
- The Videographer, the video team, and anyone in the video give permission to Ohio Trophy Pursuit for any video or picture used or submitted for the purposes of the Contest to be used for purposes of promotion or advertisement for Rx Archery/McFadden Pharmacy and the contest. Ohio Trophy Pursuit agrees that they will not use the video or pictures for any other purpose for financial gain without permission from the hunter.
- Ohio Trophy Pursuit shall have exclusive authority to interpret and enforce the terms of the Agreement. Ohio Trophy Pursuit reserves the right to amend and/or modify this Participation Agreement. It is the sole responsibility of each registered hunter to read and understand the Participation Agreement and the Complete Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement to Hold Harmless and Assumption of Risk (“Waiver”). The Participation Agreement and the Waiver, as well as all updates and changes thereto, shall be available at McFadden Pharmacy.
